LSPD:FR Online v1.0.0 release logo

This first major update brings three new departments, the ability to transfer between them, a complete rewrite of the callout system (with the number of unique callouts doubled!), along with several smaller quality-of-life changes. We've been hard at work since the initial release in early December to refine and continuously iterate on improvements based on user feedback and suggestions. The 1.0 release officially marks our exit out of beta and into a public release which we are proud to finally be able to share and enjoy the experience with everyone!

The numbers we have seen since launch have massively exceeded any and all expectations that we had, and it is thanks to your suggestions, bug reports, and overall feedback that we are able to continue to improve. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to LSPD:FR Online and helped shape the game mode; the engagement and activity in the community has been great to see and we look forward to sharing more regarding future updates with you soon!

Departments

Players now progress department ranks from rank 1 up to rank 6, at which point they are granted the ability to Department Transfer in the Esc Pause Menu:

Callouts

    • Zone 3: Blaine County (BCSO, SAHP)
  • The duration in which callouts are dispatched now scales with the total number of available responders online in each zone

  • AI NPCs generated for callouts will now prefer to spawn safely on sidewalks rather than on roads
  • Refactored callout synchronization to significantly reduce the probability of AI failing to execute tasks
  • Added callout: Store Robbery

  • Man With a Gun: increased the probability of simply being open-carry rather than always engaging responders
  • Fixed an issue where the dispatcher's response messages were not aligned with the actual callout scenario

Gameplay
