Welcome back! Update 1.3.2 is all about making the moment-to-moment patrol experience smoother, richer, and more dependable. This gameplay-focused update brings a completely rebuilt Speed Radar, new vehicle controls, expanded roadblocks, the new ATM Robbery callout, and a broad collection of fixes across AI, services, and callout synchronization.
Player Survey
We are incredibly grateful to see the LSPD:FR Online community growing so rapidly and to have so many engaged players sharing their experiences, ideas, and suggestions with us, especially in our Discord community. Every contribution is deeply valuable and plays an important part in helping us understand what is working well and where the experience can be improved.
As the number of players and conversations continues to increase in-game, on Discord, etc., it becomes more difficult to capture and fairly assess every perspective. Our new Player Survey provides a centralized, structured place for that feedback, allowing us to see a clear and easily digestible breakdown of how players feel about the different aspects of LSPD:FR Online—what you enjoy most, where frustrations arise, and which areas you believe deserve the greatest attention.
Your responses will help us better understand the quality and variety of callouts, gameplay stability and performance, progression and reward balance, and the overall user experience, alongside ease of use, accessibility, clarity, and the many smaller details that shape every patrol. The survey takes only a few minutes to complete, but your answers go a long way towards giving us meaningful insight into how you feel about LSPD:FR Online and what we can do better. By sharing your honest feedback, you will help us identify the right priorities and make more informed decisions about what we improve, refine, and build in the future!
Speed Radar
Speed enforcement and roads policing has received a major upgrade with a completely rebuilt Speed Radar. Press F9 while on duty in the driver's seat of a patrol car to open the new radar panel.
The radar uses independent front and rear antennas to scan traffic around your cruiser. Each antenna can be switched on or off separately and aimed either down your own lane or across towards oncoming traffic, making the system useful whether you're moving with traffic or parked at the roadside.
- Live speed tracking: View the speed and direction of vehicles ahead of and behind your patrol car
- Same-lane and opposite-lane modes: Aim each antenna at the flow of traffic you want to monitor
- Automatic plate reader: Hold a vehicle in the radar beam briefly to resolve its registration plate
- Violation locks: Set a speed threshold and the radar will automatically lock a vehicle's speed and plate when it reaches or exceeds that limit
- Direct vehicle lookup: Run a captured plate through the law enforcement database straight from the radar panel
The violation threshold can be configured anywhere from 20 to 200 MPH, and a locked antenna holds its reading until you clear it so you have time to safely identify the vehicle. The new F9 control is also rebindable through your FiveM key settings.
Weapons & Equipment Handbook
A new Weapons & Equipment handbook section is now live, providing comprehensive information about every weapon and utility available at the disposal of patrol officers.
- Complete armoury reference: Review every Taser, handgun, shotgun, rifle, less-than-lethal launcher, and patrol utility currently available
- Access requirements: See department availability and rank restrictions at a glance
- Practical guidance: Learn when to use the nightstick, flashlight, road flares, and fire extinguisher safely and effectively
The guide also reinforces proportionate use of force, prioritising less-than-lethal options wherever possible and treating firearms and lethal force as a last resort.
Vehicle Controls
Patrol vehicles now have a set of practical driving assists for longer journeys, traffic control, and more natural road use.
Cruise Control
Press , (comma) while driving above 30 MPH to hold your current speed. Cruise control maintains the selected speed until you press the key again, accelerate, brake, switch off the engine, or leave the driver's seat. It will also disengage automatically if the vehicle remains below 25 MPH for several seconds.
Indicators & Hazard Lights
Vehicle indicators have been added and are fully synchronized, so every nearby player can see the direction you're signalling. Left and right indicators automatically cancel once you've completed a turn and straightened the wheel, while hazard lights remain active until switched off manually.
- - (minus) Toggle the left indicator
- = (equals) Toggle the right indicator
- [ (left bracket) Toggle hazard lights
Unflip Vehicles
Terrible driving skills? We've got you covered. Players can now interact with a vehicle resting on its roof and select Unflip Vehicle to safely return it to its wheels, saving you from having to redeploy from the garage.
Roadblocks
The roadblock system has been expanded with several new and improved options. Open the trunk of a patrol vehicle and select Roadblocks to choose what you need, then carry it into position.
- Spike Strips: A newly improved model deploys as a five-piece strip across the roadway and bursts the tyres of vehicles that drive over it
- Blue Police Cone: A new illuminated cone with a blue warning light
- Red Police Cone: A new illuminated cone with a red warning light
- Road Closed Barrier: A new high-visibility barrier for fully closing a road
Spike strips are no longer deployed with Ctrl + Down Arrow. They have moved to the trunk of your cruiser, where you can take one out, carry it into position, and deploy it like any other roadblock.
Each officer can have up to five roadblocks deployed at once, but can still only have one spike strip deployed at a time. Placement and synchronization have also been reworked so multi-part props sit correctly on the road and tyre hits remain reliable as vehicles cross them at speed.
New Callout: ATM Robbery
Respond Code 3 to a robbery in progress at one of the many ATMs across Los Santos and Blaine County. The suspect may be armed and immediately engage arriving officers, or abandon the robbery and flee on foot when confronted. Approach carefully and be ready for either outcome!
Improved Progression Visuals
Progression milestones now feel clearer and more detailed with a refreshed set of on-screen banner notifications. Each banner presents the achievement and what it unlocks in a more polished, consistent format, making important moments easier to recognize while you play.
- Rank Promotion: Celebrate each promotion as you advance through your department's ranks
- Department Transfer Eligibility: Learn when you've reached your department's highest rank and can transfer to another department
- Department Transfer: Receive clear confirmation when your transfer to a new department is complete
- Open Role: Mark the moment you achieve Open Role and unlock the freedom to patrol across departments
AI & Interaction
Refined Handcuffing Animation
Handcuffing a suspect now uses a newer, more refined animation. Your officer moves into position and restrains the suspect in a more fluid manner, complete with handcuff sound effects and visible cuffs once they're secured.
This replaces the abrupt state change with an interaction that feels much more grounded during arrests.
Gameplay Performance
This update delivers a long-awaited overhaul of several internal systems, particularly the logic behind our data handling and interfaces. Some tightly coupled legacy code from before Update 1.3 was still operating behind the scenes; that remaining logic has now been fully removed and replaced with a cleaner, more efficient foundation.
With less unnecessary work taking place behind the scenes, interfaces should respond more quickly, synchronized data should be handled more efficiently, and general gameplay should feel smoother and more consistent throughout each patrol.
We strive to make our feature-rich, high-quality, cooperative LSPD:FR experience accessible to everyone by reducing the entry barrier for minimum system requirements wherever possible, especially for players using lower-end hardware.
FiveM for GTAV Enhanced
You may already be aware that FiveM has recently released FiveM for GTAV Enhanced in Early Access. This is still very early in development and forms part of the upcoming native support for FiveM servers running on GTAV Enhanced. When this support rolls out, players joining Enhanced servers will need to use a new, separate FiveM Enhanced client rather than the existing FiveM client.
Behind the scenes, we're already taking a look at what is required to ensure LSPD:FR Online remains compatible. This early work means that, when the time comes, we'll be prepared to move over and run on FiveM Enhanced while making use of the latest capabilities available through GTAV Enhanced.
We'll share more information regarding our internal development and testing for FiveM Enhanced once it has matured at a later stage.
