The San Andreas Highway Patrol (SAHP) is the final department in the progression path and the gateway to Open Role. It specialises in the roads and highways that tie the whole state together.
Who They Are
Modelled on the real-world California Highway Patrol, the SAHP is a state-wide highway force. Reaching the top rank within the SAHP is what unlocks Open Role on your character.
Jurisdiction
Uniquely, the SAHP has jurisdiction everywhere — across all three zones, from the city to Los Santos County to Greater Blaine County. Their speciality is the highways and freeways that connect San Andreas, with traffic enforcement and high-speed pursuits being their bread and butter, but they can operate anywhere on the map.
Serving in the SAHP
