3D World Interaction

Use contextual interaction points on NPCs, vehicles, and objects all around you.

LSPD:FR Online uses a 3D world interaction system that brings simple, contextual, and easy-to-use interaction to everything around you. Instead of holding a key and aiming at a target, interaction points appear directly in the world where it makes sense.

How 3D Interaction Works

As you move around the world, you'll be prompted with interaction points on NPCs, vehicles, objects, and points of interest across the game world. The options appear and disappear as needed, so you can focus on the situation without having to think twice.

Using Interaction Points

When an interaction point is available, simply press the prompted key (usually E) to act on it. The system is contextual, so the options you see depend on what you're looking at — for example, opening a cruiser's rear door to detain a suspect.

Talking to NPCs

Every NPC runs on an advanced AI "brain" with its own personality, awareness of its surroundings, and an understanding of the current situation. Because of this, no two encounters play out the same way.

  • Some law-abiding citizens will happily follow your orders.
  • Others are indifferent and could go either way depending on how you treat them.
  • And some want nothing to do with the police at all.
