Joining the Server

Welcome to the force, rookie. Before you can hit the streets, you'll need to connect to the LSPD:FR Online game server. This guide covers everything you need to get in for the very first time.

Before You Connect

To play on LSPD:FR Online you'll need:

• A legitimate, up-to-date copy of Grand Theft Auto V (Steam, Epic Games, or Rockstar).
• The FiveM client installed and linked to your Rockstar account. You can download it from the official fivem.net website.

Connecting to the Server

There are two easy ways to join:

1. Direct connect (fastest): Click the Connect button on our website, or open FiveM, press F8 and type connect play.lspdfronline.com.
2. Server list: Open FiveM, search for LSPD:FR Online in the server browser, and click to join.

The first time you connect, the server will download all of its custom assets. This can take a few minutes depending on your connection — this is completely normal and only happens once.

The Right Game Build

LSPD:FR Online runs on the latest A Safehouse in the Hills game build (3751). When you connect, FiveM will automatically prompt you to switch to the correct build if you aren't already on it — just accept the prompt and let it restart.

You no longer need to manually downgrade or switch game versions like you may have done on other servers in the past. Stay on the latest build and you're good to go.
