Service Calls

Tow Truck

Call a tow truck to recover an unoccupied vehicle, and make room for it to arrive.

Abandoned and impounded vehicles don't clear themselves. When a vehicle needs removing from a scene, call in a tow truck to haul it away — just be ready to make room for it to do its job.

Calling a Tow Truck

Walk up to the vehicle you want removed. As long as it isn't occupied, a Call Tow Truck interaction point appears at the centre of the vehicle — press E on it to request a tow.

Making Room for the Tow

Once called, the tow truck will make its way to the scene. It needs reasonable space and clearance for its flatbed to approach the vehicle, so make sure the area around it is clear.

If traffic is impeding the tow truck from arriving, you'll need to coordinate the traffic and clear the road — keep things flowing so the truck can safely approach within a reasonable distance before it can collect the vehicle.

Once it has room, the tow truck loads the vehicle onto its flatbed

With enough room to work, the tow truck backs up to the vehicle, loads it onto the flatbed, and hauls it away — leaving your scene clear.
